Revising for your exams?
by Charles Shields - Friday, 8 January 2010, 01:37 PM

Are you finding it hard to study in your room? Then why not use one of the study spaces provided on campus, in the Library, G Building and James France?

The Library is pleased to announce that 24/7 opening will start from 11th January 2010 to the 5th February 2010. The Library is incredibly popular during the exam period and sometimes you struggle to find a study space. To help this situation that the Library and Students Union have been working together to overcome the problem of people ‘reserving’ study desks by leaving belongings whilst they go elsewhere.

Please be aware that from the 18th January 2010, any belongings that have been left on a Library study desk for over 30 minutes will be removed and will need to be collected from the Library Enquiries Desk on Level 3. So please do not leave your belongings unattended in the Library, even for a short period. This should mean you and other students stand a better chance of finding a study space in the Library at exam times than in previous years.

Lecture rooms in G building
Lecture rooms G002, G003, G004, G006 and G007 will be open as student study rooms 24 hours a day from 6.00pm on Friday 15th January until 6.00pm Tuesday 2nd February 2010

Student Learning Zone
The student learning zone (D003) in James France is open between 8:00 and 6:00 pm. Don’t forget to bring your student ID card with you, as the room has swipe access control.

We wish you all success in your revision and exams!
